| ugh why does theraflu taste so nasty? woke up with a sore throat this morning so now im sipping on this nasty nasty theraflu. its like salty and bitter at the same time....
breckenridge was lots of fun last week. first off, the company was great, met some nice people, and learned how to play spades! the condo was also very nice and it walked out to the slopes. oh and i didn't break any bones  . granted i stuck to all blues, and was very cautious. i am definitely feeling old though, i remember back in the day when i didn't even know how to ski i would go down the hill without any hesistation (okay maybe some but still). and it sure didn't help that im outta shape, the trails were very long, my quads started hurting 3/4th of the way down, and i had to pull over to take a break. plus it was so cold (a huge cold front moved in right as we arrived--single digits and crazy wind chills), that while on the lifts, I felt the snot inside my nose turn into icicles---no joke. the town itself was very cute, there was a street side crepe shop that made the most delicious chocolate crepes!

| So I've been coughing a lot the past couple of weeks, and I went to the
doctor for a check-up. She was concerned, so she made me get an
Xray--and then referred to me a pulmonologist (sp) for further
evaluation. So I went the next day and he said I was fine, maybe
just some inflammation. But then he started looking at the X-ray,
he said he saw something he wanted to check, so now I have to go get a
CT scan or was it catscan or is that the same thing.. Doctors are
really good at scaring you, he was like its probably nothing, but just
to be sure. greeeat.
And I definitely ate too much for thanksgiving--but fortunately I don't
think I'm alone there. I wonder how many ppl went to the gym on
the friday following thanksgiving! I find it much harder to lose weight
now that I'm older and with a slower metabolism. :(
I went to hagerstown for Black Friday. It opened at midnight and
it was crazy! I have never seen such madness. Years past, I've
lined up at electronics stores and I thought that was bad, but ladies
shopping for clothes---it's absolutely insane! It was definitely an
experience. Probably one that I will not experience again. =)

| it's monday and its time for another weekend movie review :)
The Departed was great! probably the best movie of this year so
far. the acting was superb, especially leo.. i don't think
anyone walked away from this movie not liking leo's character.
the plot could be better. i have infernal affairs on my netflix
queue now, can't wait to see it!

| okay so i watched Annapolis last night ---horrible movie. i no
longer like james franco--he seriously can not act. however, i
think he kind of looks like jimmy's friend victor. anyone else
think so? it wasn't until the end I saw it was directed by Justin
Lin--the guy who did better luck tomorrow. no wonder it had the
same asian dude (the tall one) as BLT. probably hooked his friend
up with a part. hehe.
anyways, also JJ since I can't leave comments on ur xanga, and other
ppl who play wow, i finally watched the south park wow episode.
it was pretty hilarious. except i kept thinking to myself in some
parts--thats not accurate!! of course thats probably what they did on
purpose to make addicts like myself say that...
ooh and im visiting meldoy in NY end of this month! wheee. hope it doesn't get too cold. its gonna be fuuun :)

| my dell laptop lcd screen stopped working over the weekend. the
computer still boots fine, and I can use it if I connect it to an
external monitor. but it doesn't recognize the laptop lcd. and
since my warranty expired in may, not sure how much its gonna cost to
send it in. I guess i'll call them tonight and see. grrr.
in the meantime I've taken over my dad's 27" monitor. although playing
wow on that thing makes me dizzy and even a little bit queasy. so
my dad was sitting in the same office doing his work (he's a master
hearts players) and was like who are those people talking (over
teamspeak)? and i was like umm ppl telling me what to do.
and he kept asking me all these questions like who these ppl were, and
did i know them, etc. it was pretty funny.
